Ron Paul Media Bias
If you’ve been watching FOX news coverage or any other network, you may notice the Ron Paul media bias that exists during the Iowa caucuses. Although Ron Paul is leading the races in popularity, the media is simply dismissing the facts and attempting with all of their efforts to target Ron Paul as ‘unelectable.’ Whether or not your a Ron Paul supporter, its important to ensure that we have fair elections and that they are depicted by journalists in an unbiased fashion. The social media polls show that Ron Paul is still leading the 1st ever social media primaries, with his overwhelming support from young Americans, however whenever you turn on a major news network you can clearly observe the Ron Paul media bias.
Ron Paul Media Bias | The Importance of The Iowa Caucuses
We wanted to show you a short video clip that really sheds light on the Ron Paul media bias by putting together a collage of clips first exemplifying the historical importance of the Iowa caucuses and then the immediate dismal by television journalists of Ron Paul and Iowa’s decision making process. Its downright insulting.
You see its a common method of propaganda to outright dismiss someone as ‘unelectable,’ as the American media is clearly doing with Ron Paul. After a while the American public’s mind will be so filled with these negative connotations about the candidate that eventually many people will subconsciously accept these statements as facts. This is the brilliance behind the Ron Paul media bias.
Ron Paul Media Bias | Why He’s a Threat
There’s no question that the Ron Paul media bias that we’re all witnessing is a direct effect of Ron Paul’s strong campaign objectives to rework the entire US system as we know. People don’t like change and the rich certainly don’t want anyone threatening to shut down their greedy playground. This is what CNN reports in their recent article on the Ron Paul media bias.
It also doesn’t hurt that on some issues — like the power of the Federal Reserve, the bailout of the banks and America’s expensive wars overseas — the questions Paul has been asking have gained in salience since 2008. That’s true even if you don’t agree with his answers on those issues.
It probably has also helped that for almost all of the last year, the mainstream media hasn’t bothered to take Paul very seriously. No less an authority than Jon Stewart has pointed out, several times, the strange bias in the media against giving Paul his due, or asking hard questions of his many hyper-libertarian positions. Thus he’s mostly flown under the radar, until now.
Here’s why Iowa’s a threat, if Ron Paul wins Iowa then it is going to give him the credibility and the momentum he needs to go on and win New Hampshire as well. This is why you here journalists spouting off at the mouth about the illegitimacy and unimportance of public opinion in Iowa, point blank. They are shaking in their drawers.
Ron Paul Media Bias | “A Good Protest Vote”
That’s what Newt Gingrich called Ron Paul in a recent debate. This is probably the stance of most mainstream Republicans out there about Ron Paul. However the Ron Paul media bias doesn’t dissuade his supporters, which are some of the most vigilante out there who revere Ron Paul for his ideological stances.
But the ideological purity and consistency of his libertarian message – and his adoption by the Tea Party movement – has struck a chord with many young Republicans, disillusioned by what they see as the half-truths and evasions of the other presidential hopefuls and the political class in general.
“They want somebody they can look up to,” says Dan Jones.
“He’s like a grandfather figure. You respect him, he garners our respect. Other candidates are just trying to woo you and court you and take you out on a date and then leave you. Ron Paul seems like he is in it for the long haul.”
So we’ll just have to wait and see if the media kills Ron Paul’s campaign. However with his young supporters its highly unlikely seeing as how they get most of their news from social media, largely ignoring this Ron Paul media bias.
