Twitter Stories
Sometimes its hard to fish through your news feed for truly inspiring Twitter stories. Twitter has sparked revolutions in the Middle East, exposed injustice, and recruited followers across our nation to protests such as Occupy Wall Street. Now we have a landing page for some of these and other inspiring Tweets and the stories behind them, Twitter Stories. Twitter stories are inspired from tweets from 100-150 characters long and they truly define the magnitude of the service that Twitter offers. Although Twitter is a place for marketing, gossip, and talking with friends, Twitter Stories gives the company a bleeding heart and a humanistic layer. On no other social platform can one post about needing a kidney and truly find a donor, except for Twitter.
Here are 4 Twitter stories and I encourage you to indulge in the rest.

Twitter Stories | Sh*t I Need A Kidney
These are the words verbatim from Chris Strouth upon learning that he needed a kidney transplant. Chris was battling kidney disease for three years when he was finally told by his doctor that he would need a kidney.
This is one of those Twitter stories that truly shows the power of social media. Within just a few days, 19 people offered to see if they were a match for Chris!
One of the people who replied was an acquaintance named Scott Pakudaitis, who hadn’t seen Chris in years.
After seeing the Tweet, Scott researched the procedure, talked to people who had been through it before, then decided to get tested to see if he would be a match.
When the match came back positive, he decided to donate his kidney. After the procedure, he sent a get-well-soon message to back to Strouth—on Twitter.
