FedEx YouTube Video | FedEx’s Response
Here we have Matthew Thornton III, Senior VP of FedEx Express U.S. Operations, giving his sincere apology over the FedEx YouTube video. He’s really sorry and he hopes that you’ll continue to give him your money.
Anybody else think this guy looks like a skinny Al Roker with a mustache? I can’t help but wonder what kind of deal they struck up with the customer that filmed the viral FedEx YouTube video. I’m sure they left the incident with fat pockets. They mentioned that the employee would be no longer working with customers, however it didn’t appear that he was really working with customers in the video either.
I’m sure that FedEx’s loyal customers really wanted to hear from one of the top dogs in response to this FedEx YouTube video, but don’t you think they could have picked somebody a little less stiff. I mean all I was thinking the entire time was teleprompter. I think going with a PR guy might have really saved them on this one. Oh well. Its really funny to think about how irrelevant and unseen this video would have been say 10 years ago, before everyone and their brothers were surfing YouTube.
