Black Box Social Media, LLC ("Black Box Social Media," "BBSM," "we," "us," or "our") provides digital advertising, strategy, and related marketing services. This Earnings & Results Disclaimer explains how to interpret the performance claims, client stories, testimonials, examples, and advertising-spend figures that may appear on blackboxsocialmedia.com, in our presentations, or in our marketing materials.
We do not guarantee any particular number of leads, appointments, customers, sales, revenue, return on ad spend (ROAS), return on investment (ROI), profitability, or business growth as a result of viewing our materials or purchasing our services. Any specific commitments in a written client services agreement are governed by that agreement.
Digital advertising involves financial risk. Advertising costs and agency fees may exceed the revenue or profit generated by a campaign. It is possible to lose the full advertising budget without achieving the desired results.
Case studies, screenshots, client feedback, testimonials, and performance examples describe individual situations and are selected to illustrate particular campaigns or experiences. They should not be understood as typical, average, generally expected, or guaranteed outcomes. Other clients may obtain materially different results, including weaker results or losses.
Results depend on factors such as the product or service being offered, pricing, profit margins, market and competitive conditions, advertising budget, seasonality, creative assets, landing pages, follow-up and sales processes, tracking quality, and the client's execution. Some of these factors are outside BBSM's control.
Where a specific testimonial or case study communicates results that viewers may reasonably interpret as generally achievable, any required information about generally expected performance should be provided clearly and prominently with that claim. A general disclaimer on this page is not a substitute for accurate, substantiated claims and necessary disclosures where a result appears.
References to $250 million (or $250M) in advertising spend refer to an aggregate advertising-spend figure, not to client revenue, agency revenue, client profit, or return on investment. The fact that advertising dollars have been spent or managed does not establish the profitability or effectiveness of a particular campaign.
Any cumulative spend figure should be understood in the specific scope and time period represented when it is used. Historical spending amounts do not predict future advertising performance.
Figures such as cost per lead, cost per acquisition, conversion rate, ROAS, sales, and revenue may be reported by advertising platforms or other measurement systems. They can be based on defined date ranges, attribution windows, tracking methods, and assumptions. Reported revenue or ROAS is not the same as net profit and may not account for advertising costs, agency fees, refunds, fulfillment costs, or other operating expenses.
Tracking and attribution methods may change, and different systems may produce different results. Past performance, whether measured by BBSM or another provider, is not a reliable guarantee of future performance.
Because the businesses, budgets, offers, and markets we work with differ substantially, any featured example should not be treated as a prediction of what a new client will achieve. We do not suggest that an exceptional case study reflects the outcome of a representative client unless we expressly provide substantiated information supporting that comparison.
Prospective clients should evaluate their own economics, advertising goals, risk tolerance, and available resources rather than relying solely on selected examples from another business.
Testimonials or endorsements may come from current or former BBSM clients or business contacts. The existence of a client relationship may be relevant to how an endorsement is understood. Where a featured person received an incentive or has another material connection, that connection should be considered when evaluating the endorsement and disclosed where required.
The information we provide is for general business education and marketing discussion. It is not individualized legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. You are responsible for assessing the suitability of advertising strategies and spending decisions for your business, with assistance from qualified professionals when appropriate.
